APC reveals Buhari not running for a third term

Udoehede indicated that the party will strive to reach a consensus and an agreeable candidate before the 2023 election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged President Muhammadu Buhari of pursuing “self-succession” plans, which the All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted.

John Akpan Udoehede, National Secretary of the party’s Caretaker Committee, praised the APC as a structured Party.

While the opposition was in government, Udoehede recounted the undignified third-term plan.

He reportedly added that after the APC congresses and the National Convention, the opposition party will be stunned.

Udoehede indicated that the party will strive to reach a consensus and an agreeable candidate before the 2023 election.

Refuting the third term agenda of Buhari and Apc, he said

APC has no third-term agenda. What we are doing now is to stabilize the party and not allow individual ambitions to derail the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari
