According to SportingLife, Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo will no longer put Cristiano Ronaldo in the team’s free-kick walls.
This comes after an incident during their 3-1 win over Parma in midweek.
Gaston Brugan’s free-kick crept under the Juve wall and beat Gianluigi Buffon to give the hosts the lead.
Ronaldo did appear to duck out of the way of the ball and cover his face as Brugman took the set-piece.
The mistake comes just weeks after the Portuguese captain was chided for doing the same thing during their Champions League exit at the hands of FC Porto.
Sergio Oliveira’s long-range strike found the bottom corner of the net after Ronaldo appeared to dodge the strike.
Pirlo, speaking after the Parma game said
It is now believed that the former Italian midfielder does not intend to include Ronaldo in their defensive line-ups in the future.
