Dino Melaye reacts as Ghanaians reject bags of rice from a politician

Furious youths in Ghana's Damongo town were spotted refusing to accept rice bags presented to them by NPP lawmaker Samuel Abu Jinapors

Senator Dino Melaye, who represented in the 8th National Assembly as a member of the Kogi West Senatorial District, has implored Nigerian youths to evolve and stop shipping their votes to politicians for bribes.

Dino Melaye said this in response to a video depicting Ghanaian teenagers dismissing bags of food from a politician, the Senator made the verdict in an Instagram post.

Furious youths in Ghana’s Damongo town were spotted refusing to accept rice bags presented to them by NPP lawmaker, Samuel Abu Jinapors, who represents their constituency in parliament.

In the video, as if rejecting the bags of rice is not enough, the youths took turns to return the bags of rice to the Hilux that conveyed them while ordering the politician to leave the vicinity immediately.

They could also be heard chanting

We need jobs and not bags of rice

Dino Melaye took to his Instagram page to quiz Nigerian youths if they would also do the same if offered bags of rice by politicians.

According to Dino Melaye, he said

Ghanaian youths rejecting free bags of rice from politicians and demanding job creation.

Can this happen in Nigeria? To be honest, Nigerian youths need to grow up.
