Efcc belongs to all Nigerians, not for Anybody- Bawa

The EFCC boss has announced that the agency will try its possible best to eliminate corruption

Abdulrasheed Bawa, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, has urged Nigerians to join the fight against corruption, saying that the EFCC Commission cannot win the war alone.

Bawa imparted this while receiving members of the Civil Society Coalition for Transparency and Good Governance at the Commission’s Abuja headquarters on Monday, April 19, 2021.

EFCC belongs to all Nigerians and it is not for anybody. We realized long ago that the work of the EFCC is not something that can be done alone. Civil Society Organizations and Individuals are all stakeholders because Nigeria is the only country we have.

Bawa further stated that the EFCC will work with civil society organizations to ensure that the Commission’s obligation and what we stand for, which is ensuring good governance, is deeply embedded in the country and corruption is eradicated.
