Emirates airline has extended its suspension of flights to Dubai from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka until July 28 in compliance with UAE regulatory requirements.
In an announcement, Emirates proclaimed that any passenger who has visited these four Asian nations in the previous 14 days will not be allowed to travel to the UAE from anywhere.
In the official statement, the airline stated that
The UAE expanded its restrictions on foreign flights from the four countries earlier this week, expressing fears over coronavirus disease (Covid-19) infections, which are driven primarily by the highly contagious Delta strain.
In the aftermath of the devastating second wave of Covid-19, the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority suspended inbound flights from India to Dubai on April 24.
