Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has vowed to continue attacking Hamas, as he rejects a call from U.S president, Joe Biden, to restrain the attack.

According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 227 Palestinians have been murdered in the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas, which started on May 10. This involves 64 children and 38 women.

In Israel, 12 people were killed, including a 5-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and a soldier.

Following the development, Biden prompted Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu during a visit to Israel’s military headquarters on Wednesday to end the ongoing conflict, which has claimed many innocent people’s lives.

Biden while imploring Netanyahu to robstruct the attak on Hamas, he said

I expect a significant de-escalation on the path to a ceasefire

Netanyahu, however, in response said he greatly appreciates the support of the American president but Israel is determined to continue this operation until its aim is met.

Remember that the United Nations had initially called for a de-escalation of the clash between Israel and Palestine.

The UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, said it was “an absolute must” on Wednesday, insisting that the increasing number of deaths, which includes children, is “totally inappropriate.”
