Nigerian youths in thousands are looking forward to the June 12 protest. The aim of the protest is to serve as a voice to show displeasure about the recent happenings in the country.
The Ondo State Police Command has declared that it will not stand by and watch any protest in the state, under any guise, devolve into the #EndSARS mayhem.
The command’s public relations officer, DSP Tee Leo-Ikoro, while reacting to the scheduled June 12 protest told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday that the police are “battle-ready” to avert any disruption in law and order by any group or individual.
Note that suspected hoodlums hijacked the nonviolent protest against police brutality known as “EndSARS,” which happened across Nigeria in October 2020, and vandalized numerous public assets.
