By failing to report for Tottenham training, Harry Kane has sparked rumors linking him with a transfer to Manchester City.
Kane is expected to come to Hotspur Way this week for a series of tests, including one for Covid-19, preparatory of his reunification back into the group after a summer break.
Unfortunately, Kane was a no-show on Monday despite widespread speculation of a move to Etihad Stadium, and it was widely publicized that he was again away from Spurs training on Tuesday.
Kane’s existing contract will not end until 2024, but the England international was said to have been made a “gentleman’s agreement” with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy last year, permitting him to leave in the summer.
However, it is evident that City is eager to sign Kane and would be willing to spend at least £100 million to do so, although no formal discussion between the two clubs has yet commenced.
