My TAMPPAN suspension, joke of the century- Nkechi Blessing

Following an outburst between the actress and a colleague on social media which resulted in a suspension, the actress, however, has brushed off the authenticity of the suspension

Nkechi Blessing, a well-known actress, has outlined her suspension by the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria as the joke of the century.

Nkechi Blessing and another actor, Kehinde Adams, aka Lege Miami, had been suspended by TAMPPAN for fighting dirty on social media over the recent arrest of their colleague, Olanrewaju James, aka Baba Ijesha, who was accused of molesting a minor.

Film directors who are members of TAMPPAN’s Guild of Directors have been tried to tell not to work with both actors until their suspension is lifted, according to a statement released by actor and chairman of TAMPPAN’s Guild of Directors, Damola Olatunji.

Nkechi Blessing, while addressing the suspension issue during an interview with Sunday Scoop revealed that she did not take the suspension serious since the association did not deem it fit to proclaim the suspension to her via a phone call or E-mail.

In the actress’s words, she said

I don’t feel anyway. Firstly, an organized association should use proper measures to Address a person they describe as their member.

Since the letter was delivered through a mere Instagram post without calling my phone or sending me an email, I consider it to be the joke of the century.
