Nigeria Coronavirus cases increase with 41 new cases

Since the pandemic began in February 2020, the country has examined 1,977,479 people, according to the health agency

New cases of the deadly coronavirus have been reported in Nigeria as 41 new cases were announced by the NCDC.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the new cases have brought the total number of coronavirus infections in Nigeria to 165,702.

On Saturday night, the NCDC declared the new cases on its official Twitter account.

The new cases came from six states of the country and the FCT, according to the organization.

No new coronavirus-related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, according to the latest update by the NCDC.

According to the NCDC, 16 new infections were confirmed in Lagos, 14 in Yobe, three in Rivers and the FCT, two each in Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa, and one in Edo.

Since the start of the disease in the country, there have been 2,066 COVID-19-related deaths and 165,702 verified infections, according to the report.
