Pacquiao vs Spence: I want to retire Pacquiao- Spence says ahead of their fight

As the Pacquiao vs Spence match draws closer, fans of the two fighters are curious about what to expect.

Errol Spence, the WBC, and IBF welterweight champion is not only determined to win his forthcoming defense, but he also wants to be the guy to retire Manny Pacquiao.

Pacquiao, 42, will face Spence at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 21. Fox Sports Pay-Per-View will broadcast the event.

The eight-division world champion hasn’t fought since July of this year when he defeated Keith Thurman in a twelve-round split decision to win the WBA title. Due to his inaction, he was later designated as a champion in recess.

The betting odds of the Pacquiao vs Spence fight have Spence as the top contender to win because he is younger, larger, and more skillful.

He praises Pacquiao since he could have chosen a much easier opponent in his weight class.

Spence, however, while talking to Morning combat, said

I want to retire him but I do respect him for taking this fight and being a real fighter.

He could’ve picked Joe Blow or somebody, or an MMA fighter just to get a huge paycheck. Instead, he took the biggest challenge in the division
