Sunday Igboho: Yoruba Nation activist’s house raided, DSS Confirms

Sunday Igboho managed to survive the attack from the DSS as two of his boys were killed and many arrested

The Department of State Services confirmed on Thursday that its operatives raided the home of Yoruba rights campaigner Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, in the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State, around midnight.

The attack was reported to have been an intense one which eventually led to the loss of lives of two men who were reported to be Sunday Igboho’s men while many of his men were arrested. Igboho was reported to have miraculously survived the attack.

However, the Department of state services was candid about being responsible for the attack which did not only led to the loss of lives, but also to the damage of the activist’s properties.

The attack comes two days prior to the commencement of the Yoruba Nation’s rally which has been set to hold in Lagos state.
