According to family reports, Nigerian prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, also known as TB Joshua, is dead.
On Saturday evening, just after a program at his synagogue, the founder of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) died in Lagos.
However, according family sources, an official statement is still being drafted and will be announced shortly.
TB Joshua was proclaimed dead on June 6th, just six days before his 57th birthday. The cause of death was not known exactly, but family sources stated his body had been transferred to the mortuary.
An autopsy will be conducted to uncover more about his demise. Mr Joshua’s SCOAN and Emmanuel TV are two of Africa’s most renowned and largest Christian television channels.
Mr Joshua has been a prominent television preacher for decades, drawing a great number of Christians from all around the world to his platform.
He was a humanitarian who used his popularity and position to help the less fortunate, and he was instrumental in the development of several charity organizations for the needy.
