The presidency is Worried over Frequent Tanker Explosions- Garba Shehu

The presidency raises concern following the tanker explosion in Benue which killed about twelve people

President Muhammadu Buhari has raised concerns about fuel tanker explosions on public roads.

The expression was made by Buhari in response to the explosion that killed residents of the Oshigbudu community in the Agatu Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday which led to the death of about 12 people while several properties got razed.

Buhari exhibited his deepest sympathies to the state government in a statement released on Monday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

The president also expressed his condolences to the victim’s families and those whose property got damaged as a result of the fire.

President Muhammadu Buhari condoles with the government and people of Benue State over the tanker explosion that left several people dead in Agatu Local Government Area of the state.

He progressed by saying

I am worried by the frequency of these tanker explosion incidents on public roads or residential areas. Our road traffic authorities and transportation ministries should urgently address this
