The UK coronavirus cases have seen a dramatic increase as another 5,683 coronavirus infections and one death have been confirmed in the United Kingdom within 28 days following a positive test.
Official numbers recently released showed 5,431 new infections of COVID-19 and four deaths.
In contrast to the same time last week, when 3,383 coronavirus cases and one death were reported, the number of UK coronavirus cases has boosted by 2,300.
In the last 24 hours, another 127,345 first COVID-19 vaccine doses were given, brings the total number to 40,460,576, and also another 259,941 second doses were given, totaling 27,921,294.
In the meantime, England’s Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, has declared that people between the ages 25 to 29 will be able to book vaccinations commencing tomorrow morning.
